In the field
[DRAFT] A hands-on introduction to nature photography — light, composition, getting a frame you're proud of. Choose the focus, from landscapes to woodland to wildlife. No experience assumed; speak to a nervous first-timer here.
[DRAFT] Nature photography workshops across every discipline — landscapes, wildlife, woodland and trees, long exposure, macro. Held at varied locations, arranged with you. Relaxed, friendly days with good company, a café never far away, and no ego in sight. Taught by an award-winning photographer who works with industry leaders.
[DRAFT — in your voice] Photography across whichever discipline pulls you — landscapes, wildlife, woodland, long exposure, macro. But the truth of these days is simpler than technique: head outside, good company, a flask and something nice to eat, and make a day of it. You'll learn to read light and weather, to compose, to be patient when the wind picks up or the subject wanders off mid-shot — and you'll have a proper laugh doing it. Enjoy the process, not just the outcome. Some folk come back as much for the day out as the camera work, which tells you most of what you need to know.
[DRAFT] Landscapes, wildlife, woodland, long exposure, macro — taught properly, drawn from decades across all of it.
[DRAFT] Relaxed and informal, a café never far away — cuppa, cake, no pressure, plenty of laughs. Friendly and respectful, pitched to whoever turns up. You'll learn loads and enjoy the day doing it.
[DRAFT] Complete beginners and working photographers both have a place — taught differently, in the same landscape.
[DRAFT] Sessions run four hours of hands-on fieldcraft, across whichever discipline you're drawn to. Pick the format that suits you. Replace titles and locations with real ones.

[DRAFT] Four hours built entirely around one person and exactly what they want to learn. Held wherever suits, in private — no images taken of you, ever. Travel charged at 47p/mile where I come to you.

[DRAFT] Bring a friend or partner — the same close attention, shared between two. Held in private, no images taken. Travel at 47p/mile where I come to you.

[DRAFT] A session built around one discipline in depth — long exposure water, woodland and trees, wildlife, or macro. For people comfortable with their camera who want to go further. Swap the title per session you run.
[DRAFT — your actual terms] Sessions normally aim for at least three people, but more often than not I'll run a date anyway for whoever's booked — if it ends up being two of you, that's a cracking little group and a great deal. Workshops go ahead in light drizzle or showers — if you've weather-sealed gear and a rain cover you'll be fine, and some venues have indoor cover (a glasshouse or similar) for subjects and shelter. If the weather is genuinely terrible, we reschedule. As for refunds: I'm pretty relaxed — full refund if I cancel, and if you can't make it, just let me know and we'll usually sort an exchange to another date.
[DRAFT — in your voice] And if the weather turns and we come home with nothing on the card? Time spent outdoors doing what we love is never wasted. We'll have had a good day regardless.
A relaxed, hands-on session for teams, away-days and staff groups — part creative day out, part genuinely useful skill. Your people spend time together, learn to actually see and shoot, and come away more confident behind a camera or phone.
And there's a quiet bonus for the business: photo-literate staff make better content. Better product shots, social posts, event photos — done in-house, by people who've learned the basics properly. A lovely day for the team, and a skill the business keeps.
Same friendly sessions, same fair rate as everyone else — £60 per person. No corporate mark-up; the price is the price. Bigger teams are easy — for larger groups I'll run two smaller sessions across the day so everyone still gets proper attention and no one's lost in a crowd.
Tell me what you've got in mind and I'll put something together that suits your group, your place or one of mine, indoors or out. All abilities welcome.
[DRAFT] Some people would simply rather not learn in a group — for privacy, for profile, or just preference. Every one-to-one and one-to-two runs the same way: wherever suits you, in private, and I will never share images of you or your work, or anything about the session. The price is the same for everyone — £250, plus travel at 47p per mile if I come to you.
[DRAFT] One thing said plainly: I never share clients' images or work from any session, group or private. In a mixed group, other participants are of course free to share their own photos and experience — that's their choice, not something I control. If you'd rather no one but you holds your images, a private session is the right fit. For the few who need more, a mutual NDA can be arranged; I've signed confidentiality agreements throughout my career and treat them as a given.
[DRAFT — review wording] Many clients book solo and head into remote places with someone they've only spoken to online. That's a real thing to weigh up. Rather than ask you to take my word for it, here's what's actually in place — checkable, not just stated.
[DRAFT] Held via professional insurance. Confirming tuition cover in writing — details on request once finalised.
[DRAFT] Completing Protecting Vulnerable Groups membership ahead of offering any sessions to under-18s.
[DRAFT] Booked onto a 16-hour outdoor first aid course for remote-terrain sessions.

[DRAFT] Two or three sentences, weaving the headline credentials naturally — e.g. runner-up in the British Wildlife Photography Awards' Botanical Britain category, work featured by WWF UK and on the cover of Outdoor Photography, a professional who works with industry leaders. Keep it confident, not boastful — let the list do the work.
[DRAFT] One line on the teaching: 1-to-1 and small-group workshops across landscape, wildlife, woodland, long exposure and macro — drawn from decades in the field and the classroom.
